“Still the seat encroaches into your daughters headspace and cracks her skull open, it kills people worldwide, it maims people worldwide.” – Jason Fraser
On Thanksgiving day, 2016, Jayden Faith Fraser was in the backseat of her fathers Sudan, heading home from feeding the homeless on thanksgiving 2016 when another car rear ended them on the highway. The drivers seat collapsed backward, slamming into Jay-Fay’s head. Her mother, Michelle recounted, “it was a 360 degree fracture around her skull.”
Jay-Fay, who was only 12 at the time, had been a state champion gymnast and a nationally performing dancer. These days, she is wheel chair bound, unable to speak and fed through a tube in her stomach. Her parents are on a mission to make sure this doesn’t happen to any other family.
